Little Miners Montessori runs a traditional Montessori program beginning with the early childhood years and continuing through kindergarten. There are also exceptions made for children wanting to stay one more year for first grade; children who apply for this extra year must be already enrolled and have completed at least 2 years with Little Miners Montessori.
Little Miners offers many other programs that are unique to the Montessori enviroment. Each child is encouraged to participate in any or all of these programs which are offered throughout the year. These programs include:
Little Miners Montessori is dedicated to provide each LMM child with the best possible oppourtunities academically, imaginatively, socially, and physically. Our enrichment programs are often tailored for parents and children to learn together. Our ski program takes advantage of the close proximity of Park City Mountain Resort to teach LMM children the fundamentals of skiing and we work with the Park City Ice Arena to teach ice skating. Our summer camps provide children with both structure and play during the summer days. Programs and opportunties for LMM children and parents continually evolve with each passing year and we are excited to offer so many wonderful choices.
